About Pet Sitting

• What is pet sitting?

Pet sitting is a service that allows your pets to stay at home while you are on vacation or at work.  This is valuable for puppies and older adults who need to be let out during your workday, or for people who work long/irregular hours.  It is a great alternative to boarding because it reduces stress on your pets and allows them individual attention.  It's also great for animals that normally aren't offered boarding services such as small animals, reptiles, and birds.

• What time are services available?

Please e-mail or call us to set up a practical service schedule.  We will work to meet you and your pets' needs.

• What about my keys?

You may give us a set of keys, or you may choose to leave a door unlocked at your own risk. 

• What if I need to cancel the services that I have already scheduled?

Please call us ASAP. 

• What experience do the pet sitters have?

Our lives revolve around animals.  We wouldn't have it any other way. 

I have worked at a boarding facility/dog daycare, training dogs and caring for small animals, birds, reptiles and fish.  We volunteered together at The Humane Society in Binghamton, NY, and CCA in Simpsonville, SC, walking and socializing dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and temperaments.  We have six dogs (two shiba inus, a blue heeler and three mixed breed), along with a Sulcata Tortoise and fish.  We foster dogs when time and space allows us to do so.

• What will happen if my pet gets injured while I'm away?

We will collect veterinary information when we first meet with you and your pet(s).

• I have an exotic animal not listed on your website.  Will you care for him/her, also?

If you are willing to teach us, we're willing to learn!

• Are the pet sitters insured?

We are insured by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. 

• Is pet sitting available during holidays?

Yes.
